The Great Exhibition Road Festival 2019 (A Set on HP5+ Film)
London: The Great Exhibition Road Festival happened during 29th & 30th. It was a collaboration of institutions on and around Exhibition Road showcasing the science and the arts in a unique programme of creative workshops, talks, exhibitions and performances.
Following the footsteps of the Great Exhibition of 1851, I thought of capturing this event on a black and white film, the good old way. Using my trusty Nikon f80 with a 50mil lens loaded Ilford Hp5+ film, following shots were captured. I developed this film with Mr Bellini's Hydrofen (film recipe at bottom) and scanned it with Epson V700. Here is a set of 18 pics:

Some images from the first roll of JCH Street Pan
JCH Street Pan is mainly used for street photography. This film has a wonderful contrast and produces pretty sharp details. It is known to be coming from surveillance film stock. Back in India, I got this film through a friend from Australia but never got a chance to use it there. After coming to London, this was the first 35 mm film that I tried. Initially, I was a bit sceptical from the online reviews, but now I am loving the results. I tried developing the first roll of this film with Mr. Bellini's Hydrofen developer (recipe in the bottom) which is the improved version of Studional or Rodinal S developer. The grain is pretty fine and the film doesn't curl! Here are some of the images taken at Royal Albert Hall during Imperial College's 2019 graduation ceremony.
Summary: I love it! :-)
